Anime Expo® welcomes all members of the media interested in attending our 2022 in-person consequence.

Costless badges may exist provided to members of the printing intending to encompass Anime Expo via digital, print and/or broadcast media.

How to Use:

Submit an application.
Submitted applications are field of study to review by SPJA, please permit two-iii weeks for a response. If you accept non heard back from us, please email u.s. at press@anime-expo.org.
Each applicant will receive notification as to whether or not their awarding was canonical. SPJA may likewise request additional data to help consummate the review process.

Printing Badge privileges include:

Admission to Anime Expo.
Priority entry to panels. Please exist sure to plan appropriately.

Access to Press Lounge and Press conferences.
Consideration for interviews with Guests of Honor, awaiting availability.

Please note the following when submitting your application:

Yous mustreview and abide past the Press Policies and Guidelines.
Press badges will not be granted to cosplay photographers, personal blogs, or photo gallery websites.

Printing Conferences

When attention Anime Expo, all press representatives must:

Follow the Code of Bear .
Respect the right of attendees to decline whatever request for an interview.
In grouping interviews, each journalist will be held to one question and a follow upwardly question to ensure other journalists tin can participate.
Not take or use pictures or videos of attendees without first gaining their written permission to be filmed and identified.
Stay seated in the press department when attending events, unless permission is given to sit or stand elsewhere.

Refrain from request for autographs or personal photos with guests at any time during press conferences or interviews. Photos of guests to back-trail coverage may be immune, only are subject to invitee/management approval, time constraints, and must be bundled ahead of time.
Be mindful not to impede traffic flow when conducting interviews with or taking photos of attendees.

The Society for the Promotion of Japanese Animation reserves the right to bar, from this and future annual events, any registered printing fellow member who violates our Code of Behave or who misuses media privileges to engage in activities other than journalistic pursuits.

Allowed Actions:

Prohibited Actions:

Recording video clips in Industry Panel presentations or premiere screenings.

Photography, Video, and Audio Recording

Press Members are expected to arrive 10 minutes early to press conferences – admittance volition not exist allowed after the commencement of the press conference. Interviews

Guest of Honor: Interview requests will only be received via a form that volition exist sent out to all approved press members prior to Anime Expo. Electronic mail requests will not exist accepted. Interview requests will be reviewed by both SPJA/as well as each guest's corresponding management teams. Important Notes
- Fix questions in advance!
